Advantages of the workshop

Actee computer simulation.

At the company PDiVizija and under the brand Change2Value, we strive to provide the best possible experience. Therefore, during workshops and by agreement with the client, we use the globally recognized Danish platform Actee, which allows computer simulations on the topic of change management.
The Actee platform is used worldwide by companies such as Knauf Insulation, L'oreal, Deutsche Telekom, Telenor, Japan Tobacco International, and others.

Program details

Games last from 2 hours to a whole day - depending on the topic.

The computer simulation consists of three connected sections:

1. Setup of the Framework and Presentation of the Scenario:

Participants get to know the rough basics of change management and the ADKAR individual/personal change model, which will help them play the game. The participants then learn how to handle the platform and become familiar with the game scenario. The lecturer presents:

2. Computer simulation:

The participants divided in groups face the change given to them by the game. After each played chapter, all groups gather in the middle of the room, present their progress, and discuss what they have achieved with the instructor. In this part, dialogue is encouraged, as well as sharing about the various options and conclusions of the participants. It is also encouraged to connect the findings of the participants with their real-life examples.

3. Final Results, Summary, and Findings:

After the game is over, all groups present their achievements and summarize their findings. This is followed by a discussion between the participants and the instructor about the identified good practices and challenges. Participants connect what they have learned with real examples from the business environment. Dialogue between participants is also encouraged. The final findings are collected, which the participants receive in the form of a document as a handout after the workshop.

The game

The game consists of:

The goal of the game

The goal of the game is to get all the characters "onboard", i.e. on the boat, and thus achieve that they follow our plans and activities on the way to the target state of change.

How to play?

The game consists of several chapters, which can follow each other logically through one project or change, or each chapter presents its own challenge for the players (depending on the chosen game). In each chapter, the game determines the position of the boat, the position of the characters, and their current orientation when changing. The player's task is to choose from choices, offered by the game, that he/she thinks will bring the characters on the board as close as possible to get on board.
With each completed action, the game offers a description of what is happening and a short explanation in the form of excerpts from various theories of change management and human behavior. Each character who reacts in any way to the player's action gives a new opinion or feeling and thus reveals to the player his view of the current situation.

Who is the program intended for?

Depending on the choice of the game, the workshop is intended for different groups.

Our customers' opinions

The Actee group simulation places you in situations requiring both quick decision-making and strategic change planning. Solving the game is also a process of understanding team dynamics and the thought processes of individual team members, from strategists to those resistant to change. An important step is also reviewing personnel/employees after each action because feedback is crucial, and we want to know where our colleagues have moved.

The lecture prepared by Tjaša and Peter impressed me. They managed to present information that is extremely valuable for any organization in an interesting and entertaining way; time with them passed (too) quickly.

Workshop was a confirmation of what we already know as a leadership team – our choices are reason that we either gain or loose trust of our team.
