Vrednote postavljajo snoven okvir organizaciji in se odražajo v vsakodnevnem življenju in delu ljudi. Določajo kako se zaposleni obnašajo pri opravljanju svojega dela, pri sodelovanju na projektih in pri sprejemanju sprememb.

Vrednote igrajo tudi pomembno vlogo pri digitalnih transformacijah ali drugih večjih spremembah organizacije. Če njihov pomen spregledamo, se lahko srečamo s popolno izpeljanimi opravili za implementacijo projekta pa vendar na koncu projekt ne uspe.
